La Madre is Italian for ‘The Mother’. This refers to our mother culture, which we use to kick-start all of our sourdough breads.
We absolutely love what we do and are passionate about sourcing the finest ingredients for our products.
With an emphasis on supporting family owned mills and regional producers, our flour comes from Wholegrain Milling, our dairy products from Lard Ass, biodynamic vine fruits from Tabletop Grapes and olives from Mt Zero.
